Offered is an original boxed complete conversion kit that would enable one to change his .45cal colt model 1911 into a .22 rim fire handgun. Comes complete with everything needed. The slide features the high polish blue finish with the matte top with fully adjustable rear target sight. The barrel is stamped Colt caliber .22 L.R. Retains approximately 85% blue with high edge wear. The .22 caliber magazine is original and stamped "Colt cal .22 L.R". There is no paperwork included but there is a receipt from 1985 for the sale of this unit for $134.38. Listing it circa 1952.
