4-3/4" barrel in .45 LC caliber. According to the factory letter, this revolver was shipped to Hartley & Graham on May 1, 1884 in a nickel finish with rubber grips. This revolver matches the factory records with the exception that it now sports a pair of period one piece ivory grips that are showing their age with a stress crack, small chip, and some shrinkage. Frame has the three-line patent dates. Barrel has proper two-line address. Has the front frame retaining screw. Revolver retains approximately 20% original factory nickel. Balance of gun is a brown patina. All matching numbers. Indexes and locks up perfectly. Has a nice clean, strong bore. ".45 CAL." stamped on left front trigger bow. Fine old, all original cowboy gun.
