8" barrel in .44 percussion caliber. Manufactured in 1862. Standard Model 1860 Army, six shot, single action with brass trigger guard, iron backstrap, and one piece walnut grips. This revolver is cut for shoulder stock. All matching numbers including wedge. Wood grips are very good with numerous dents and are slightly shrunk with added varnish. Cylinder has no visible scene. Brass is untouched. Metal surfaces are a mix of blue-brown patina with some added wipe-on finish. Legends are sharp. Indexes fine. Strong clean barrel.
