20" barrel in .25-36 Marlin caliber. One of the scarcer calibers in the Marlin 1893 carbine. Tang is stamped "Model 1893" Features 20" barrel; half magazine; single band; high post front sight; three leaf folding rear sight; blued finish; with case colored frame, lever, and buttplate; walnut stocks; and saddle ring and stud. Barrel is stamped Smokeless Steel" and retains approximately 70% original blue blending with brown patina. Flashes of original blue on barrel band. Left side of frame retains approximately 50% case colors with traces on lever as well. Bottom has silvered out. Right side of frame has traces of colors in hidden areas, the rest have patterned. 30% Nitre blue on loading gate. Frame screws retain nearly all of the Nitre blue. Walnut forend has a few usual dings. Stock is proud to metal in excellent condition with beautiful grain. The express sight retains 90% of the Nitre blue finish. Buttplate is basically grey patina. Strong bore. Very fine original Model 1893 Saddle Ring Carbine.
