Made for A&F, manufactured in 1966, no evidence of salt wood. 20 bore, 3” chambers, two sets of blued 26-1/2” barrels. Both sets with forends and marked “”MADE FOR ABERCROMBIE & FITCH” and “MADE IN BELGIUM” on left side of both sets and with other typical Belgian Browning barrel markings. Both sets with vented matte ribs and single brass beads. One set full choke on top barrel and modified choke on bottom. The other set with both barrels chokes to skeet. Grade I boxlock action with typical Grade I engraving and blue finish. Features: ejectors, gold-plated trigger, non-automatic safeties and barrel selector switch. Varnished walnut checkered semi-pistol-grip buttstock with recoil pad, covered with sweated-on brown leather and bottom with vacant gold oval escutcheon. LOP is 13-1/2” to end of butt and 14-1/2” to end of recoil pad. Drop at comb is 1-1/8” and 2” at heel. Complete with factory Browning case with brown leather exterior and partitioned blue velour interior. Excellent condition. Both sets of barrels retain nearly 100% blue finish, with some wear from sliding forend on each set, excellent shiny bores. Action retains 95-98% blue with some light edge wear and light wear and marks to bottom of action. Stocks are very good, one forend with a dent, both have scattered light marks from use. Buttstock and recoil pad excellent. Case is in excellent condition with some scattered minor marks from use on the outside. A beautiful and functional two-barrel set made for Abercrombie & Fitch.
