4" barrel in .22 rimfire caliber. The R Series serial number block revolvers were only manufactured in 1977-78. This revolver was obtained from a gentleman whose father purchased them brand new where they sat in the box until May of this year. Only by bright magnification can you see that they were cocked once or twice, but this line is not visible to the naked eye. Features full royal blue finish, vent rib, solid under lug, adjustable rear sight, wide target hammer, smooth trigger, with gold medallion checkered walnut grips. There is virtually no wear of any kind anywhere; no spots or stains. The sides of the hammer are bright. It comes in its original numbered box with styrofoam, all original paperwork, hang tag,Colt "Congratulation" letter. Even the box is in almost new condition with all flaps intact and just minor high edge wear. Label is complete and mint. All information matches revolver. It would be virtually impossible to find a nicer example of this 30-year old revolver in scarce blue finish and small caliber.
