Has a small ivory handle with a full length carving of an alligator. Tip of the alligator's nose is missing and ivory at the front of the handle shows two other chips. Gold band is present where handle and shaft meet. Band is engraved "Dr. Lemp from C. C. B". Has original wood shaft, in basically good condition with a piece of wood missing towards the bottom. Replaced tip. Circa 1850.
