This exceptionally detailed 4' wood canoe includes a pair of wooden paddles, both marked Peterborough Canoe Co. Ltd. These sample canoes were awarded to Old Town Canoe Co. retailers for productivity, often hung within the store or manager's office. A variety of sizes were produced with an estimated 60 of this particular size produced in total, making this a rare and desirable item. Canoe body is green and marked "Old Town" on both sides, one side showing more fading to the label than the other. In fantastic, original condition overall, showing very little wear. Circa early 1950s.
