Manufactured by Krieghoff for the Luftwaffe. This variation has the late front toggle late stamp (H K Krieghoff Suhl) with anchor. The S code stamped on chamber indicates this pistol was manufactured in 1935 with an estimated total production of 1600 to 1800 pistols. Serial no is 2470. Features: 4” barrel, 9mm, blue finish, straw colored small parts, molded brown plastic grips with course checkering, and a blued magazine with aluminum bottom stamped "4349". All other numbers are matching. The safety links are stamped with the Luftwaffe Eagle and a number "2". Magazine is a Mauser not a Krieghoff. As to condition, the front strap is a blue gray patina as is the rear, balance of gun has overall high edge wear still retaining approximately 85% overall blue finish. Fine bore and action. Generous straw colors. Excellent grips. Very nice example of a Krieghoff German Luftwaffe all matching Luger.
