Comprising: A) Winchester Model 1906 slide action rifle. Round barrel for short, long, or long rifle cartridges. Receiver with take-down knob on left side. Plain two-piece walnut stocks with maker's buttplate. Good condition, as refinished and reblued, some wear, scattered marks, and spotting. Wrist has been broken and repaired. B) Marlin Safety Model 1897 lever action rifle. Blued octagonal barrel fitted with folding front and rear sights. Casehardened receiver, lever, and hammer, with take-down knob on right side. Plain varnished walnut stocks with maker's buttplate. very good condition, barrel retains about 90% original blue with some edge wear and fading to brown, tube mostly turned to brown. Frame has generous traces of case colors in protected areas, otherwise spotted brown patina. Stocks with some scattered marks from use. A nice pair of early .22 caliber American rifles.
