This early Parker plain twist lifter model was manufactured in 1876, the third year of production. Standard ejectors. Very good bores. Twist steel. Meridian address. Double set triggers. Shotgun is tight and intact but the only finish is the trigger guard with the re-applied blue. All balance is a soft gray brown patina. Excellent walnut stocks have been re-checkered and a finally re-blued smooth shotgun buttplate. Lock up is tight. All matching numbers including forend. Beautifully restored, very early Parker. Work order from Paul Jager; wood was re-finished, minor dings removed, buttplate and trigger guard re-blued, costing $165 on January 26, 1974.
