Approximately 3,500 manufactured between 1932 and 1941. At the time of its introduction this model was the most expensive revolver offered in the Colt line-up. Each was hand fitted and polished; one of the finest double action pre-war revolvers ever manufactured. Featured blue finish with matte finish flat top, adjustable rear sight, adjustable front sight, fully checkered trigger, fully checkered grip straps and silver medallion checkered walnut grips. This revolver has seen well taken care of use, high edge cylinder wear with freckles, light muzzle wear, light wear on trigger guard and grip frame knuckle is patina. Grips are excellent. Indexes and locks up correctly. Fine near mint bore. A fine, all original, early Shooting Master.
