Barrel date is "RA 9-43". Offered is an all original World War II mid-war sniper rifle. Has the tell-tale offset "Z" prefix serial number. Front sight was never installed and still parkerized. Has the original parkerized finish, pressed steel small parts, scant stock. "RA" stamp on left side for Raritan Arsenal. Also has a stamp on left side of stock "RIA EB" which is another rebuild inspection stamp. Rifle is topped with blued Redfield mounts and rings and an M84 blued rifle scope. 98% arsenal finish.
