2ND GENERATION COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY REVOLVER. COLT 2ND GEN SAA 27155SA 45 COLT MODERN Cal. 45 Colt. Blue and color case hardened with 5-1/2" bbl, block letter address with model & cal marking on left side. Left side of frame has 2-line 3 patent dates & Rampant Colt without circle. Mounted with matching numbered Rampant Colt hard rubber grips. Accompanied by a spare set of real stag grips. Produced about 1959. PROVENANCE: The Brad Shepherd Collection. CONDITION: Extremely fine, all matching, including hard rubber grips. Overall retains about 98-99% bbl & cyl blue with some minor thinning on front and back straps. Frame retains about 99% orig case colors, brilliant in sheltered areas, lightly to moderately faded elsewhere with some minor age spotting. Grips are crisp, showing little or no wear. Mechanics are crisp, bright shiny bore, may have been fired but if so very little. 50062-38 JR163 (1,500-2,500)
