JAPANESE MATCHLOCK RIFLE WITH MULTI-COLOR INLAYS IN BARREL.JAPANESEMATCHLOCKNSN.50 CALCal. 50. Gun measures about 51″ overall with 39″ tapered oct bbl with swelled muzzle. Brass & silver inlays are found in wood stock, including flowers, mums, mythical animals and birds. There are partially discernible Japanese kanji script on reverse of buttstock among the 9 brass inlays. Brass, copper and silver inlays in bbl include bamboo, flowers & leaves and 2 small silver birds. CONDITION: Good to very good overall, bbl is worn and pitted but inlays appear all intact.
