10 GAUGE BREECH LOADING "STRONG" BRONZE YACHT CANNON ON ORIGINAL MAHOGANY CARRIAGE.SNOW12NSN10GA15-12" overall. 13-3/4" overall including cascabel. Breech is crisply marked "L.T. SNOW / THE STRONG CANNON / M'F'R / NEW HAVEN CONN / USA". Mounted on original brass mounted mahogany carriage. CONDITION: Very good overall. Firing pin cap appears to have been restored with a knurled end copper finial. Gun holds cock, locks and fires. Brass has a light mustard patina as do carriage mounts. Mahogany body is sound with scuffs and cracquelure to varnished surface. One brass bolt securing axle is missing. Matching assembly numbers to breech and tube.
