19TH CENTURY PRUSSIAN FLINTLOCK FUSIL. PRUSSIAN FUSIL NSN 69 Cal. 69. 46-1/2" overall, 32-1/2" bbl with military proofs. Lock is marked with 'SAARN" arsenal markings. Gun is brass mounted and these petite fulsils are quite scarce in relation to the often seen Model 1809 muskets of same configuration. CONDITION: Good overall. Gun appears complete and orig with exception of restored front sling swivel and lack of top jaw screw (now replaced with a sheet metal screw). Stock is sound and solid with numerous storage dings, dents and scuffs. There's a glued crack repair just forward of lock. Mechanics are fine with smooth pitted bore. 52646-3 JS (800-1,200)
