EARLY AMERICAN MILITARY STYLE FLINTLOCK PISTOL SIGNED "J WALSH".22KY PISTOLNSN48Cal. 48. 13" overall, 8-1/8" round brass bbl with incised rings signed "J Walsh". This gun is very reminiscent of the James Walsh, Philadelphia signed officer's pistols, also stocked in cherry, but this gun has very simple, plain brass mounts as can be seen in photos. PROVENANCE: Outstanding estate collection of Confederate and historical arms of Morris Racker. CONDITION: Good to very good overall. Appears original and complete with refinished stock with repaired cracks in forestock. Brass has been cleaned with light mustard patina, but quite dark in protected areas. 51958-11 JS (3,000-5,000)
