GROUP OF EUROPEAN TARGET PISTOLS.BERETTA949149622SMODERN; C&RCal. 22S. 8-3/4" bbl. Markings are clear. Dated 1954 on left side of frame at rear. Matching numbers on slide and anodized aluminum frame. Proper weight under bbl. Checkered wood grips. Designed for the 1949 Olympics and only made for a few years. Proper mag is unmarked with brown composite bottom. PROVENANCE: The esteemed collection of noted expert and author Warren Buxton. CONDITION: Fine condition showing finish wear on front of grip strap, bottom of frame, and high points. Bore is excellent with sharp rifling. Wood grips are fine with sharp checkering and light handling marks, some wear to varnish. Mechanics are fine. 53005-1 GER (1,500-2,000)

SCARCE PRE-WAR ERMA .22 TARGET PISTOL "HUNTER MODEL".ERMANEW MODEL572322MODERN; C&RCal. .22. 8-1/8" bbl. Crown/N commercial proof marks. "D.R.G.M." marked on left side of slide at rear. Zinc alloy cast frame. Brown Bakelite grips. Blued slide, bbl, and other steel parts. Matching numbers on slide, bbl and mag. Frame does not appear to be numbered. External hammer. Grip angle, mag, and takedown similar to that of a P.08 Luger pistol. Manufactured between 1937 and 1940. Production ceased due to Erma's involvement in the war effort. PROVENANCE: The esteemed collection of noted expert and author Warren Buxton. CONDITION: Very good. Most of the blue on steel parts with wear to high points. Frame appears to have been left in the white with slight oxidation. All markings are clear. Grips are solid, crack across the top of grip at rear, 1" crack at bottom rear of grip. Bore is fine with strong rifling. Mechanics are fine. 53005-55 GER (750-1,000)

Zinc alloy cast frame. Brown Bakelite grips. Blued slide, bbl, and other steel parts. Matching numbers on slide, bbl, and frame. Non-matching number stamped in back of mag. External hammer. Grip angle, mag, and takedown similar to that of a P.08 Luger pistol. Manufactured between 1937 and 1940. Production ceased due to Erma's involvement in the war effort. There is a crack in the frame by the takedown lever. PROVENANCE: The esteemed collection of noted expert and author Warren Buxton. CONDITION: Very good overall with a fair amount of blued finish on steel parts. Alloy frame appears to have been plated. Crack in frame as noted in description. Grips appear to have been repaired along the rear edge. Mainspring is weak. Mechanics need attention. 53005-57 GER (300-600)
