1906 Unit marked Navy Luger. Features include long frame, round barrel with dovetailed inverted V front sight, two position adjustable 100-200 meter rear sight on rear toggle link, wide grip safety, walnut checkered grips, and eight round detachable box magazine. The gun is all matching but the magazine. CONDITION: Good bore showing sharp lands and grooves. Walnut grips are minty with sharp checkering showing just a bit of wear. Grips are not numbered. CONDITION: Gun retains approximately 92% of the original rust blue finish and 80% of the original straw color. Gun shows some handling marks and edge wear. The original navy magazine with concentric rings is an early style, with the serial number going long ways and is number 6372. "DWM" in scroll on the center toggle link with the crown M proofs on the left side of the receiver. The extractor is marked "Geladen", safety is marked "Gesichert" in the upper position. This is a srcond issue with a W.W. 6478 unit mark on the rear grip strap. The unit mark is to "Werft zu Wilhelmshaven" or Dockyard Wilhelmshaven. There is a small "GERMANY" export stamp on the left side just above the safety lever. A rare and highly collectible gun from Imperial Germany in outstanding condition.
