Manufactured by Erfurt for the German Military. Features include; round barrel with dovetailed inverted V front sight, V notch rear sight on rear link, thumb safety marked "GESICHERT" in the upper position, extractor marked "GELADN", center toggle link marked "ERFURT". 1916 1920 double date over the chamber. Gun retains approximately 60% of the arsenal re-applied blue finish. Strawed small parts. CONDITION: Poor bore with warn lands and grooves. All matching number gun except magazine. The 1920 is a property mark, after the Treaty of Versailles.
