As noted on page 66 of "Walther Models PP & PPK" by James Rankin, the 7 digit serial number PPK's are Crown N proofed. Around 7,000 of these are estimated to have been made, with the serial number starting at 1,000,000. This gun would be the 540th gun made out of that production run, and is lower than the lowest number listed in Rankin's book. These guns were made just before the introduction of the "K" suffix. Standard markings. This gun is currently equipped with a set of reproduction Party Leader grips. Proper Bakelite bottom magazine. CONDITION: Retains 95% orighinal finish overall with some minor freckling in a few spots. All markings are clear. Fine mechanical function. Reproduction grips are fine. Bore is fine with sharp rifling.
