The basis of this custom pistol is a standard World War II Ithaca slide mated with a generic but serial numbered 1911 frame, number 9980, that has "60" on right trigger bow and a verified proof on the left trigger bow, but no other markings. Has mixed and matched parts such as a short checkered trigger, high polish wide spur hammer, flat mainspring housing with lanyard loop, checkered slide stop and safety, custom high vis front sight installed micro adjustable target rear sight, coarse checkered target grips with left thumb rest. Hand stippled front and back strap. Electropencil mark on right side of frame is a "3" and fish and a "2", and a "3" and a question mark on the left side of the frame. We can find no sign of customer gun maker to indicate who performed the aftermarket work. CONDITION: Good bore and mechanics. A beautiful trigger pull. Should be an excellent shooter. Comes with a Lawrence holster.
