Features full octagon barrel, full magazine, Winchester sporting front and rear sight, blued finish, case colored hammer and lever, walnut stocks and rifle butt. Cleaning rod in stock. Always popular .44 caliber 1873 rifle that has seen use but was well-cared for with loads of condition. CONDITION: Barrel and tube retain approximately 85% factory original blue with brown patina coming through from the backside. Razor sharp edges and legends. Blue still has shine. Frame is in like condition with approximately 75-85% of the original mirror blue factory finish with patina coming through and blending perfectly with the factory striations under the finish on both sides. Loading gate retains 60% of the bright nitre blue finish. Hammer and lever have flashes of color on sides with balance simply patterned out with some age freckling. Stocks are excellent, proud to metal with no cracks and just minor bumps and bruises. Well defined, sharp rifled bore with minor abrasion and frosted grooves. Overall a lovely, well cared fore, beautifully aged 1873 rifle.
