(1901) 30" Barrels are marked with Parkers name and Meriden address, as well as "VULCAN STEEL" on matted rib. Barrel flats and lump have all correct markings. 2 Frame with automatic safety and double triggers is engraved in usual "V" style with wiggle borders. "Parker Bros" is on each side. Trigger guard has serial number on tang. Lightly stump figured American walnut capped pistol grip buttstock measures 14 - 1/4" over Parker dogs head buttplate with spur. Standard point pattern checkering is at grip and a vacant German silver shield is on toe line. Matching splinter forend has patent date on typical release. CONDITION: Very good to fine, as partially refinished. Barrels are thinned and browned from normal hand wear. Action has traces of case color, is mostly light brown. Wood retains nearly all of an oil refinish over some light marks. Checkering re-cut. Bores are excellent. Action is slightly loose. MGM 233
