The scroll engraving on the frame is absolutely in the Nimschke style with leaf and scroll punch dot background. Engraved border around the left barrel with patent dates. Top of barrel is stamped "NO 32 STANDARD 1875". The hammer, engraved cylinder and cylinder pin are all gilt. Near mint rosewood grips. CONDITION: Frame retains 98% or better original nickel finish. Engraved cylinder has high edge wear, otherwise 90% gold, along with cylinder pin. Indexes and locks up like new. Strong, excellent bore. A very handsomely engraved 1870's pocket pistol. CORRECTION: Beautifully Engraved with Gold Accents Marlin No. 32 Standard Tip-Up Revolver.
