Manufactured in 1942. Springfield M1 Garand rifle has been rebuilt and upgraded with later production parts and refinished stocks. CONDITION: All metal components have been refinished to an appropriate grey-green period parkerized finish. The stocks have been lightly sanded and refinished with a dark varnish and no inspections are remaining. The bore is bright and shiny with sharp lands and grooves. TE reading: 1+. ME reading: 1+. The action operates properly and rifle is very attractive. Complete with a CMP certificate indicating that the rifle was sold as a receiver only in June 2004.
