Receiver manufactured by Steyr-Daimler-Puch in 1940. Matching numbers include: receiver, barrel, muzzle band, rear sight, floorplate, and buttplate. Bolt matches itself. Laminate stock with Nazi stampings of right side next to stock disk. CONDITION: Metal components retain 25% of original factory applied finish, showing extensive wear and thinning on virtually all components. Stock retains nearly all reapplied varnish with scattered handling marks, indentations, and nicks to varnish all around. Butt plate slightly protrudes past bottom of stock, likely a replacement. Bore is bright and shows strong rifling throughout. Action is smooth and locks up tightly. This would make for a fine shooter.
