Unusual carbine with fluted barrel, blued receiver with unusual magazine box that houses the 20 round magazine and also is the ejection chute for the fired cases. It has a tall thick front sight and a windage adjustable rear sight. Middle of the receiver is fitted with a rotating metal safety. It is fitted with a Bakelite buttstock with serrated metal buttplate and sling loops around the barrel and on the left side of the butt with an original brown leather sling. Left side of the butt has a red aluminum tag imprinted “EXTREMELY HAZARDOUS DO NOT LOAD OR FIRE”. CONDITION: Extremely fine, as new. Probably unfired, retains virtually all of its original factory finish overall. A rare World War II era experiment that was never very successful. A few were purchased by the English and the U.S. military experimented with them but never made any large purchases.
