Features full nickel plate, target sights, and custom grips not original to the gun. CONDITION: Gun has light drag line and a few surface marks, otherwise 99%. Gun has been fired. Excellent bore and action. Colt did not offer the Python with a nickle finish until their 1962 catalog so any Python with factory nickle finish was a special order. Since Colt could not keep up with the demand at the time, very few Pre-1963 Pythons will be found with a factory nickel finish. In addition, this gun has the name engraved on top rib. It is readily apparent that Colt applied this finish, all legends are razor sharp but one should get a factory letter on this gun simply for proof of special order nickle and to determine if name is mentioned on letter. CORRECTION: Gun was manufactured in 1976 and is a modern firearm.
