Manufactured by Colt from 1870-1890 for a total of only 9,000, makes these a rare fine in any condition. The pair, serial numbers 7360 and 4870 places them approximately middle of production. Checkered two piece varnished walnut grips, silver plated frames and barrels. Barrels marked with Hartford address and "No. 2", with .41 caliber markings under barrel release button. "French fitted" walnut case with green interior houses the pair. CONDITION: Fine overall with traces of original silver plating. Bores are dark with pitting. Walnut grips are excellent and abused. Case is sound with minimum scratches and dents. Interior is excellent with no damage. -MKS-
