Very nice Belgium Browning 20 gauge shotgun circa 1971. Barrels have fixed chokes with a narrow ventilated cross cut top rib and round steel front foresight bead. Barrels are stamped with stars for chokes: Over - Full, Under - Modified, and measure the same. Top barrel on left reads "Browning Arms Company Morgan, Utah & Montreal P. Q. Made in Belgium", right reads "Browning Superposed Special Steel 20 ga. Shells_2 3/4" and "Browning Patents". Gold single selective mechanical trigger with selector incorporated into the guns top strap safety slide. Coin finished nicely engraved action, fences and hardware. Left and right side of action engraved with flying birds and supporting scrolls. Fences carved with what appears to be oak leaves on stipple ground with supporting scroll. Bottom action is engraved with flower bouquets and scrolls. Nicely figured, checkered, high gloss stock with straight grip, long bottom strap, black Browning buttplate. Integral to the guns barrel is a finely checkered, high gloss Schnable game forend. CONDITION: Very good. Barrels Retain 95%+ of their blue with some very minor handling marks. Action chamber with some brown surface tarnish. Stock and forend are both in great shape with some slight marks. CP
