Lot consists (A) Colt 1860 Army .44 percussion single action revolver. Made in 1861, second year. All matching numbers except wedge. Blue and case finish with walnut grips. CONDITION: There is a partial cylinder scene but no original finish as gun is basically gray patina. The frame and cylinder have been beat on a bit. Grips very good with chips. Indexes fine. Sharp rifling with dirty lands. (B) This gun is unusual. It is basically an old single shot percussion boot pistol with an added large brass cone. CONDITION: Poor. Broken at top two screws in frame, with grips and hammer chipped. Patinated throughout. They were used by magicians and clowns. From the Robert Sadler Collection.
