Wm. Collath and Sohn, Frankfurt, Germany pre-war made stalking rifle rechambered to .30-30 Winchester. Round coin finish game scene engraved action with double set triggers. Blued octagon barrel with matted top plane and rifle sights. Collath style wing safety and underlever mechanism with horn lever. Walnut stocks with cheek piece, horn buttplate and engraved bullet trap. German style sling swivels. CONDITION: 80% barrel blue with light freckling and wear on the corners and an excellent bore. Receiver has sharp engraving with fading finish. Wood has light handling marks with no visible repairs or problems. Good mechanics. DLM
