Made between 1926 and 1945 by the Hunter Arms Company, Fulton, New York. One of 112 12 gauge guns ordered with 27 inch barrels. This Skeet Special Grade features blued steel barrels with twin ivory beads and raised matted rib. Case hardened sidelock action with typical "Skeet Special" engraved bird and target, non-selective single trigger, non-automatic safety, and ejectors. Walnut checkered pistol grip stock with Pachmayr vented recoil pad. Walnut checkered beavertail forearm with roller latch. CONDITION: Barrels retain 80% original blue with bright bores, missing chunk of solder under rib. Action retains 40% fading case colors. Wood retains 70% of an old refinish with butt cut for added recoil pad with minor dings and scratches. DLM CORRECTION: It has been discovered that these barrels have been cut down.
