Manufactured 1913. Deluxe Winchester Model 1885 High Wall single shot chambered for .32-40 with #4 weight 30 inch full octagon barrel with takedown option. Factory checkered pistol grip, deluxe walnut stock with cheek rest, Swiss butt and ebony tip inset and factory tuning fork pattern palm rest. Double set triggers, mid range tang sight and globe front sight. Standard two line Winchester address on barrel with "32-40" marking on top flat of chamber. Winchester proofs on both receiver and barrel. Barrel has been period drilled and tapped with 4 holes for external adjusted scope such as Winchester, Lyman, etc. Blue finish with case colored schutzen lever and hammer. CONDITION: Extremely fine with over 97% blue finish on receiver, Barrel retains over 75% bright blue with areas of loss from handling. Bore is exceptionally fine with sharp rifling. Action is smooth and operates properly. Palm rest finish and Swiss butt have turned patina. TDW
