This great pigeon gun was made in 1991 with demi-bloc barrels fitted with solid, flat rib are engraved "Ivo Fabbri - Brescia - " and "Vacuum Arc Remelting Steel" on either side of rib. The barrel flats with proof marks and serial number. The forend is checkered in point pattern with gold pigeon towards breach end and engraved steel tip. The low profile French Gray finished action is nicely engraved with rose bouquets and light scroll work accomplished by G. Studeto of Creative Arts. Made with single trigger, auto ejectors and safety which is frozen in the ready position. Bottom of frame engraved "IVO FABBRI" and engraved with rose and scroll. Trigger guard with bouquet at bow and scroll and serial number and scroll at tang. The marble cake Circasian Walnut buttstock is checkered in point pattern through the wrist with flat knob grip, gold oval with initial shield near toed engraved "JRB" and terminates with black leather covered pad. CONDITION: Extremely fine as very lightly field used. Retains nearly all original finish to both wood and metal with only very minor handling marks and impressions in the stock. Bores are brilliant and shiny. Mechanics are crisp. These are considered the greatest pigeon guns ever made and this one is no exception. The quality of the fit and finish is impeccable. JSL
CORRECTION: Chambers are 2 - 3/4" long, and the safety is a fixed safety, not frozen in place.
