Dandy little gun made on a "0" Frame with 26" Twist barrels that have matted top rib and steel front bead. Barrel flats marked with unstruck barrel weight of 2lbs 12oz. Splinter forend checkered in diamond pattern at center with engraved Deeley release and engraved steel tip. Made with double triggers, extractors, and auto safety. Case hardened action is engraved in standard early "P" Grade pattern with light scroll around screws and wave border pattern. The capped pistol grip buttstock is checkered in point pattern through the wrist, and has a nickel shield near the toe and terminates with what appears to be its original Silvers Brand type pad. CONDITION: Excellent as field used. Barrels retain more than 95% of their pleasing twist pattern with just beginning thinning at grip area. Forearm is excellent with minor impressions, checkering slightly thinned. Action retains about 50%+ of its original case color, particularly nice on sides and trigger plate. Buttstock is excellent, sound, and retains about 90% of its original finish with scattered hunting bumps and minor impressions. Buttpad has hardened and is beginning to crystallize. Mechanics are crisp. Bores with just a beginning hint of frosting ahead of chambers, otherwise bright and shiny. All together a beautiful early small bore Parker! JSL
