A very nice Belgium made Mauser action rifle. This handsome rifle has been built with a 23" barrel, single square bridge, banded stepped hooded white bead font sight, half banded middle loop for sling and also with an island base bearing one standing and two folding sights. The tiger striped and strong grained walnut stock has a pistol grip, fine checkering with a blackened steel grip cap with trap door, shadow line cheekpiece, sling stud, black rubber butt pad, matching checkered forend with ebony tip. The rifles action and stock has also been fitted with two reinforcing cross bolts, a checkered two panel bolt handle, smooth trigger and a two position flag safety. Rifle also comes with a nice canvas and leather sling and mounted with a period Redfield 2 - 3/4, 1" tube scope. CONDITION: Very good. Barrel retains 99% black with sharp rifling. Stock and forend are in very good condition with some handling and usage marks. Floor plate screw shows some wear. Action and trigger both smooth and very good. CP
