Smooth ramp front sight, square notch rear sight. Left side of slide with two line Remington Rand legend. Barrel with "P" on left lug, "HS" on right and electropencilled "BILL AYRES" in front of locking lugs. Normal frame markings. Serrated slide release, checkered safety, narrow hammer, magazine release, stamped trigger, long 1911A1 grip safety, arched serrated mainspring housing with lanyard loop. 5508694 assembly number magazine. CONDITION: Very good as totally refinished in a high polish blue with barrel, trigger, and hammer polished to an in-the-white appearance. Some minor marks from usage since refinish. Action works appropriately, bore is very good with sharp rifling and some frosting in lands. EW
