Winchester Model 1894 lever action rifle made in 1903. Rare blued half round half octagon barrel with special order button magazine and in desirable .38-55 caliber. Blade front sight with rear adjustable notch sight. Blued action with case hardened lever and hammer with plain trigger. Walnut plain special order shotgun butt with black Winchester widow's peak buttplate. Walnut plain forearm with blued nosecap. CONDITION: 90% of an extremely well done restoration on blued surfaces. 40% case colors left on lever and hammer. Wood has 20% original varnish with handling marks and dings. Good bore with visible lands and grooves. Good mechanics. Exceptional restoration job. DLM
