1919 vintage Winchester Model 1892 lever action short rifle, serial number 874206. 22" round barrel chambered in .32 WCF with Winchester Model 53 rear and front sights with button magazine tube. 2 piece plain walnut Winchester Model 53 stock and forearm complete with rifle forearm cap and checkered steel buttplate. CONDITION: Very good with most of the original bluing remaining with balance turning a mottled gray-brown patina with scattered light pitting and handling marks. Side of barrel was marked for Winchester Model 53 but this was ground off and replaced with a stamping for the Winchester Model 92. Stock and forearm are very good with moderate dents and dings throughout from handling. Action works correctly and locks tightly. Bore is bright and shiny with sharp lands and grooves with modest abrasion toward muzzle. -TN-
