Lot consists of: (A) Mauser model "KAR98" made in Erfurt in 1918 and marked with serial number "326". Military round rifled barrel with original protected blade front sight with graduated rear flip sight. Blackened finished action with "ERFURT 1918" on bridge. All hardware matches rifle serial number including original bent style bolt. Walnut full military finger groove stock with "326" stamped in toe of stock with correct proofmark behind matching trigger guard. Comes with period leather sling and muzzle cap. CONDITION: Metal has some slight surface pitting with stock having a dry well-used appearance. Dark but shootable bore with sticky mechanics. (B) Mauser Model "KAR98" bolt action magazine rifle made in Erfurt in 1918 and marked with serial number "9141". All matching parts including bolt with correct military configuration. Walnut full military stock with number "9141" stamped in stock. CONDITION: Overall well used with marks and dings significant with heavy use. Good shootable bore and mechanics. DLM
