Russian Tula SKS semi automatic rifle with box. Made 1955 at Tula as marked on the dust cover. There is a faint Izhevsk cartouche on the left side of the butt stock. Import marked on the left side of the receiver. Matching serials on the receiver, bolt, carrier, dust cover and trigger guard, with forced match butt stock and magazine. Round, steel, chrome lined barrel with hooded front sight post and blade bayonet. Post front sight and rear tangent adjustable to 1000 meters. Black enamel, factory rework finish on the metal components. Dark lacquered wood stock. Trapdoor metal butt plate with cleaning kit inside. Includes Russian web sling, oil bottle, stripper clip and importer box. CONDITION: Metal retains 98% of its factory reapplied finish with a few handling marks and scratches. Wood has a few handling marks as well. Shiny bore with crisp rifling. Mechanically fine. Accessories are very good, as is the box. JWA
