Lot consists of: (A) Smith & Wesson Model 1905 4th change double action revolver. Made c. 1920's. "S&W" Monogram on the left side of the frame. Standard patent dates on the top of the barrel. Matching serials on the butt, barrel and cylinder. Matching assembly numbers on the frame and on the crane. 5" barrel with half moon front sight and u-notch rear. Original blued finish and case hardened frame and hammer. Square butt. Original checkered wood grips with no monogram. CONDITION: Metal retains 90% of its original finish with some scuffs and wear on the barrel. Grips are excellent. Bore is clean with crisp rifling. Hammer and cylinder are tight. Sharp timing. Light drag line on the cylinder. Mechanically fine. (B) Smith & Wesson Model 1905 4th change double action revolver. Made c. 1930's. "S&W" Monogram on the left side of the frame. Standard patent dates on the top of the barrel. Matching serials on the butt, barrel and cylinder. Matching assembly numbers on the frame and on the crane. 4" barrel with half moon front sight and u-notch rear. Original blued finish and case hardened frame and hammer. Square butt. Original checkered wood grips with no monogram. CONDITION: Metal retains 80% of its original finish with some scuffs and wear on the barrel and frame. Grips have a few handling marks and scratches. Bore has some pits with very good overall rifling. Hammer and cylinder are tight. Sharp timing. Light drag line on the cylinder. Mechanically fine. JWA
