Lot consists of (A) A.J. Aubrey side by side double shotgun made for Sears Roebuck and Company by the Meriden Firearms Company in Meriden, Connecticut circa 1910. Twist steel barrels with matted rib, bead front sight, and extractors. Case hardened sidelock frame with double triggers and automatic safety. Walnut checkered pistol grip stock with black hard rubber logo buttplate and hard rubber grip cap. Walnut checkered splinter forearm with friction latch. CONDITION: Barrels worn to a silvery patina with some surface pitting. 20% remaining case colors with light surface discoloration. Wood has traces of original varnish with areas of flaking. Good bores with good mechanics. (B) Western Arms side by side boxlock double made by the Ithaca Gun Company, Ithaca, New York circa the 1930s. Blued steel barrels with extractors, matted rib, and twin bead sights. Case hardened action with Pointing Dog motif on each with double triggers and automatic safety. Walnut plain pistol grip stock with vented Ithaca logo pad. Walnut plain splinter forearm with friction release. CONDITION: 90% original fading blue with action colors fading to plum. Wood has added coat of finish with handling marks and dings. Good bores and mechanics. DLM
