Lot consist of: (A) Webley & Scott Model 1907 semi automatic pistol. These are some times referred to as 1908 Vest pockets, after a change was made to the hammer. Made pre-World War One, noted by the 12 serrations on the slide. Left side of the slide is marked "WEBLEY & SCOTT LTD/LONDON & BIRMINGHAM/6.35MM AUTOMATIC PISTOL". Webley trade mark found on the left side of the slide as well. British proofs on the frame, slide and barrel. No import/export stamp found. Original finish on the metal components. Checkered brown, hard rubber grips. Blued steel magazine is unmarked. CONDITION: Metal retains 75% of its original finish with general wear and scratches. Left grip panel has a chip out of the bottom rear. Grips have light wear overall. Bore is lightly frosted with very good overall rifling. Mechanically fine. Magazine has light wear. (B) Webley & Scott Model 1912 semi automatic pistol. Made circa 1920's. Similar to the 1907 design, but hammerless, and a blade front sight has been added, as has a V-notch rear. Left side of the slide is marked "WEBLEY & SCOTT LTD/LONDON & BIRMINGHAM/6.35MM AUTOMATIC PISTOL". Webley trade mark found on the left side of the slide as well. British proofs on the frame, slide and barrel. No import/export stamp found. Original finish on the metal components. Checkered brown, hard rubber grips. Unmarked polished steel magazine. CONDITION: Metal retains 75% of its original finish with wear and handling marks. Both grip panels have cracks on the bottom corners, where the attaching screws are. Otherwise, the grips have normal wear. Bore is frosted with very good overall rifling. Mechanically fine. Magazine is excellent. JWA
