Built in 1953 a beautiful sidelock with 27" monobloc blued barrels. Barrels with 2 - 3/4" chambers, ejectors, and a raised ventilated rib that is fitted with a steel round front sight. Chokes are modified and improved cylinder. The shiny coin finished 7 pin sidelock action with cocking indicators has double triggers (front hinged, engraved blued top lever with gold inlay of a crown and finely checkered thumb and bolt styled locking mechanism. Gun is non-auto safe. Receiver is adorned with lovely foliate scroll executed by A. Baglioni which is engraved on the right side of the trigger plate. Foliate engraved blued trigger guard with oval for initials on bow. Trigger guard extends to a long matched engraved bottom strap which bears the guns serial number "13166". The rich peanut-buttery brown European walnut stock with finely checkered straight hand grip has nice straight grain that opens up to a very nice feather crotch and a checkered butt. The matched checkered splinter forend has a blued latch release. Gun lives a nice brown leather Leg O'Mutton case. CONDITION: Very good. Barrels retain mostly all original blue and bores are bright. Ejectors are timed well and triggers are sound. Stock good with various surface handling marks. Forend very good. Nice gun. CP
