German DWM "1917" dated LP.08 Artillery Luger semi automatic pistol. Made "1917" as marked on the chamber. "DWM" marked on the toggle. Imperial proofs on the right side of the chamber. No import/export marks found. Matching serials on all the visible numbered parts. Blade front sight with rear tangent adjustable to 800 meters. Factory blued finish on the metal components. Straw blue is factory as well. Checkered wood grips are matching to the gun. Includes a matching number wood bottom magazine. CONDITION: Metal retains 75% of its original finish with general wear and brown patina. Straw rates at about 70%. Grips have light wear to the checkering. The top left panel has a chip below the safety. Bore is lightly frosted with good overall rifling. Mechanically fine. Magazine has light wear and handling marks. JWA
