Manufactured by "THE STRONG CANNON/MFR" of "NEW HAVEN. CONN./USA" as marked on breech block. Heavy tapered 15 - 1/2" barrel with pivoting breech and manual extractor chambered for No. 4 blanks. Mounted on correct style wooden naval carriage with brass mounts and rubber tires. CONDITION: Very good as refurbished. Brass components have been polished bright. Breech markings have been partially restamped, likely having become faint from the heavy polishing. Carriage has been refinished and is clean with some handling marks. Bore is pitted. Mechanics are sticky and the lanyard trigger is not present. BAS
